One of my favorite sayings is one that I made up years ago. “You are the gift that excites my heart. When I rush to open, I find a jewel”. I love the simplicity of this. It reminds me of being so excited about something, about someone that my heart just bursts with joy. I love what this represents. That kind of joy comes straight from heaven.
Thankfulness at such a wonderful gift make life a joyous occasion. I embrace the sentiment and invite the promise to abide inside my heart. I sigh a prayer for its gift of beauty.
